Ictiofauna das praias de Lopes Mendes e Crena em Ilha Grande – RJ

Abstract

Resumo: É crescente a utilização de censos visuais para levantamentos ictiofaunísticos, principalmente em águas rasas, sendo comum sua realização com o auxílio de filmagens. Para isso, o mergulho livre é uma das práticas recorridas, sendo aplicável em ambientes de praias e costões rochosos. O estudo buscou classificar a ictiofauna em duas praias de Ilha Grande – RJ, as praias de Lopes Mendes e da Crena, nas quais foram analisadas a abundância, riqueza e diversidade de espécies. Foram identificados 142 indivíduos, pertencentes a 9 famílias e 10 espécies. As espécies mais abundantes em ambas as praias foram Diplodus argenteus e Abudefduf saxatilis, sendo a última, Haemulon aurolineatum e Stegastes fuscus registradas em estudos já realizados na Baía de Ilha Grande.

Ichthyofauna of Lopes Mendes and Crena beaches in Ilha Grande - RJ

Abstract: The use of visual censuses for ichthyofaunistic surveys is increasing, especially in shallow waters, and it is common to carry them out with the aid of filming. For this, free diving is one of the most popular practices, being applicable in environments of beaches and rocky shores. The study sought to classify the ichthyofauna in two beaches of Ilha Grande – RJ, Lopes Mendes and Crena beaches, in which the abundance, richness and diversity of species were analyzed. 142 individuals were identified, belonging to 9 families and 10 species. The most abundant species on both beaches were Diplodus argenteus and Abudefduf saxatilis, the last one, Haemulon aurolineatum and Stegastes fuscus were recorded in studies already carried out at Ilha Grande Bay.
