A Reforma na Psiquiatria e o Movimento de Contrarreforma

Abstract

Resumo:

Este trabalho procurou analisar a atual política de saúde mental promovida pela Rede de Assistência Psicossocial no Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS), advinda da reforma psiquiátrica promovida pela lei 10.216/01 e o novo movimento que vai na contramão dos direitos conquistados pelo acometidos de transtorno mental, denominado de contrarreforma psiquiátrica, promovido pelo executivo federal que busca o retorno do financiamento de hospitais psiquiátricos, comunidades terapêuticas e utilização de tratamentos questionáveis, os quais visam o retorno da internação psiquiátrica como política de saúde e controle social, em especial dos usuários de drogas. Utilizou-se da pesquisa exploratória e revisão bibliográfica e da legislação.

The Reform in Psychiatry and the Counter-Reformation Movement

Abstract:

This work sought to analyze the current mental health policy promoted by the Psychosocial Assistance Network in the Unified Health System (SUS), arising from the psychiatric reform promoted by law 10.216/01 and the new movement that goes against the rights conquered by those affected by the disorder. mental health, called psychiatric counter-reform, promoted by the federal executive that seeks to return the funding of psychiatric hospitals, therapeutic communities and the use of questionable treatments, which aim at the return of psychiatric hospitalization as a health policy and social control, especially for users of drugs. Exploratory research and literature review and legislation were used.
